We are about to publish MTouch, the first and only native IPhone application for Moodle. MTouch does not require server side changes and is directly usable by the students. You can check details or download the "Try before you buy" free Windows version

Great, that one is of my interest (I work for mobile application development company).
    Need a stylesheet though...

Can you make the stylesheet you developed for the iPhone display available?

    You can used:  iphone-universal
Normalized CSS & HTML framework to develop iPhone webdev applications.

The stylesheet I use is a modified CSS of my current theme, it would be useless for any other theme.  The hack relies on you modifiying your existing css to add the code.  However, I am createing a stand-alone iPhone theme to work on all Moodle's and it will be ready soon.  And this will work for you.  Stay posted.  I'll Tweet it when it's ready.
