Design

Moodle often faces negativity from designers and is often criticised for being a difficult platform to design for – but this does not have to be the case.
In it’s simplest form, the Moodle theme engine relies on HTML/PHP coding with a healthy dose of CSS. In fact, nearly all of the elements in Moodle have defined CSS tags so a theme really can be as simple or as technical as you want it to be.
As each element can be individually styled (blocks, headers, menus, resources), there really is no need for Moodle to look like..well..Moodle.
Many Moodle sites look very similar as many organisations lack the skills required to create a custom theme and they often use the default themes or download a stock template.
I can create templates that offer something different, something unique. My templates can encompass Javascript (JQuery or Mootools integration) to add further functionality such as accessibility options, sliding elements and much more.
Elements can be styled with images and Moodle can be improved by providing a good alternative navigation system.
Your Moodle site can look and behave in any way you require. Rounded? Glossy? Web 2.0? Mobile compliant? Iphone ready? If you can imagine it, then between us we can build it.
